Michael's Story

I would like to introduce myself. I am Michael Patterson and I'm a landscape photographer based in Western Australia’s picturesque Pilbara region. I am absolutely passionate about capturing the best landscape images I can and sharing them with you. Nothing excites me more than the moment when the lighting, composition, textures and planning come together to allow me to capture this ancient and remote outback environment.

I have lived in the Pilbara on and off for almost seven years and in that time, I have fallen in love with it’s beauty and contrasting landscapes. I am proud to share my images of my time here and abroad and I hope they give you as much enjoyment as I received taking them.

The reds, browns and oranges of the dry season and the green, blues and purples of wet season are beautifully captured through my lens. My passion for photography is second to none, I like to travel locally and not so locally to capture the perfect shot. Now you can own a piece of the world as I see it in your home.
